OUTER EDGE POLAR CHALLENGE
It was a journey that started in 2009 with a dream which took Charles to Europe and the United states to see if snow sailing was really possible… The prototype worked so the next question was going to be, how would he find himself a snowsailer that could withstand Antarctica’s tough climate? Once the snowsailer was built, with the help of some amazing sponsors, Charles was ready to hit Antarctica.

PREPARATION
There were some unpredictable elements along the way, including problems with the snowsailer, and the weather.
But in the end, despite not being able to reach the plateau due to terrible weather conditions, Charles did achieve World Records – and made a dream come true – something many people never do.
The Outer Edge Polar Challenge was a success in every way imaginable. And the inspiration for Charles to complete more challenges, to get out and live life, and to continue adventuring.
